About the class
What we will cover: hills and light (direction), clouds, blended sky, horizons, colour mixing, water (lake and sea) and reflections, sketching, composition, how to seal and hang a painting, birds and florals, loads of art tips, and exhibition invites and info. Class development: once you feel comfortable with all of the above, if you choose to continue with the classes, you can bring in your own image to paint and the tutor will step you through it. A slow paced safe space where you can learn to paint and meet some like-minded artists. Tea, coffee and biccies provided.
What to bring
You'll be told exact requirements for oil or acrylic on enrolment, and the best place to buy materials. Notebook and pen, paper towels, old rags, palette board, paintbrushes, paints, plastic bag, canvas, glass jar, masking tape.
