How to photograph your vintage finds so they sell
Good photos sell vintage. You don't need a fancy camera, just good light, a plain background and the right shots.

Step by step
Step 1: Clean it first
Dust and wipe the item. Dust shows up badly in photos.
Step 2: Use window light
Shoot near a window on an overcast day or out of direct sun. Turn off overhead lights to avoid yellow casts. Use white card to fill shadows.
Step 3: Keep the background plain
A plain wall, sheet or card makes the item stand out. Clear the clutter.
Step 4: Take the key shots
Front, back, sides, top and base. Then close ups of maker's marks, labels and any damage. Honest photos of flaws build trust and save returns.
Step 5: Show size
Include a photo with something familiar for scale, or a tape measure, and put the measurements in the listing.
Step 6: Let Junkie help
Snap a photo and Junkie can suggest a title, description and price, then you edit to suit.
