Staying safe from scams

The common scams on marketplaces, and how to spot them.

Most people on Junkie are lovely. A few aren't. Watch for:

Anyone asking for a code sent to your phone or email. It's how scammers take over accounts.
Gift card or crypto payments.
"My courier will collect, just pay their fee."
Overpayments followed by a request to refund the difference.
Links to other sites asking you to log in.
Pressure to move the chat off Junkie.

Junkie flags risky messages automatically and shows a warning. If something feels off, stop, and report it.
