Shipping, courier prices and tracking

Every listing says how it gets to you: pick up, a flat shipping price, a courier price worked out for your address, or freight for big furniture.

Buying

Press Buy now and choose pick up or delivery. Add your address and you'll see the shipping price before you pay. Rural delivery (RD) addresses cost a little more because couriers charge a rural surcharge. Buyer protection is on the item price only, not the shipping.

Won an auction? Your card is charged for the item when it ends. If the listing ships, we email you a link to choose pick up or delivery, and the shipping goes on your saved card too.

Once the seller sends it you'll get the tracking by email, and it's in Orders and payouts. Press "It arrived" when you've got it.

Selling

When you list, choose how it ships. Flat rate is simplest. Courier rate by size works out the price for each buyer from the parcel size you pick, so you never undercharge. Furniture and anything over 25 kg is freight quote or pick up only.

When it sells, open the order and press Send it. Book a courier label through Junkie and print it, or drop it at NZ Post or any courier and add the tracking number. You get the shipping the buyer paid on top of your price. If you book through Junkie the label cost comes out of that, and anything left over is yours.
