A beautiful 1966 Yamaha Queen Anne upright piano in a warm, high gloss mahogany finish. This is a genuine Japanese made Yamaha, built at the Hamamatsu factory, which is the era players and collectors look for. The older Japanese Yamahas were made to a standard you simply don't see in later models. It has just been professionally tuned and serviced by a piano technician, so it is ready to play the moment it lands in your home. The tone is rich and full across the entire keyboard, and it holds tune beautifully. The cabinet is a compact console height with elegant Queen Anne cabriole legs and a carved music rest, so it works as a genuine piece of furniture as well as a quality instrument. It suits smaller lounges and modern homes while still giving you a full 88 key keyboard. Condition is outstanding for its age. The mahogany is glossy and clean, and it presents as a well cared for, much loved instrument. What's included: Full size 88 key Yamaha upright, 1966, made in Japan Matching Queen Anne stool with padded top and storage inside Original carved music rest Details: Brand: Yamaha Year: 1966 Finish: High gloss mahogany Serial number: 561410 Genuine Japanese build, no reproduction Pickup from Hamilton. Buyer to arrange transport, and I'm happy to recommend a local piano mover. A piano this size is a two or three person lift, so please come prepared. Happy to help also! A gorgeous instrument for or anyone who appreciates a quality vintage Yamaha with real character. Very reluctant sale. Any questions, just flick me a message.
