How records are graded
Junkie uses the Goldmine scale, the same one Discogs uses, so a VG+ here means the same as a VG+ anywhere. Sellers grade the record (media) and the sleeve separately. Good sellers play it, not just look at it.
| Grade | The record |
|---|---|
| MMint | Absolutely perfect, never played, maybe still sealed. Use sparingly. |
| NMNear Mint | Nearly perfect. No visible marks, plays without noise. Looks barely played. |
| VG+Very Good Plus | A few light marks or scuffs that don't affect the sound. A well cared for record. |
| VGVery Good | Light scratches and some surface noise you can hear in quiet bits, but it plays through fine. |
| G+Good Plus | Plenty of surface noise and scratches, but plays without skipping. |
| GGood | Heavy wear and noise. Still plays, but more a filler copy. |
| FFair | Skips or repeats. Mostly for the label or the cover. |
| PPoor | Cracked, badly warped or won't play. |
