This standout vintage ceramic jug from West Germany features a beautifully detailed Egyptian-style relief, with figures engaged in traditional scenes encircling the base. The top portion is a rich brown gloss glaze, complete with a sculpted pharaoh-like face beneath the spout, while the lower half is an earthy matte clay with cream-toned raised imagery. Made by Jasba, a notable German ceramics maker, and marked with their classic "W. Germany" stamp on the base. A true piece of mid-century design, ideal for collectors of studio pottery, vintage jugs, or Egyptian revival decor. Looks just as good on display as it does as a statement vase.
